![]() It's also better if you have a kindle or large tablet (something book size) to read the sheet music with rather than just your phone. They are smaller print than the physical books, but not small enough that someone with normal vision would have to squint at them. I wouldn't recommend buying them if you need reading glasses. I was skeptical of them before I bought one, but they work pretty good. E-book piano books tend to be cheaper because they are less desirable. Most of these books are available in either e-book or physical copy. Some Songbooks Are Also Available In Ebook I've also included lists for the songs in every book because I know some people are looking for certain songs in particular that they want to play. I will explain further how difficult or easy they are in my reviews of them. I listed these books in the order of easiest to hardest to play. But for someone who has been playing for over two decades, like I have, the intermediate "Easy Songbooks" are still easy because we've been playing for so long that we can play every song almost perfectly after only a couple of attempts at it. For new piano players, even the easiest song book, where you only play with one hand can be extremely difficult to follow. The problem is the term "easy" means different things to different people. I actually buy a lot of intermediate piano music that is labelled "Easy Songbook." That's partly why I wrote this article because I want to help you buy the book you need at your level, so you can get the most for your money. I hate the label "Easy Songbook" because it can mean anything from bare basic beginning level piano songs to intermediate music. This part is actually extremely confusing. They get the rights to make sheet music directly from the people who created it, so their songs are usually the most accurate and authentic sounding of any sheet music you can buy. ![]()
